Our first formal Family Council — all 22 of us around one table, targeted for July 2026 (exact date TBD). This page tells you what will happen on the day, what to read before you come, and exactly what you will — and will not — be asked to sign.

Who signs what

There are two packs. The Council Pack (Part 1) is what Council #1 is about — the Family Charter and its companion documents. The Formation Pack (Part 2) comes later, with lawyers, and nothing in it is signed at this council. Council Pack — Part 1, signed at or right after Council #1

A gentle note: the Formation Pack documents are working drafts that fix the family's agreed terms in writing — Singapore counsel will settle the final wording and numbers before anyone signs them.

What signing the Council Pack means — and what it does not

Signing it means

• You adopt the Family Charter — our shared values, one council seat per branch, quarterly meetings, and the 75% rule for major decisions.
• You record your intent to join the family trust and the holding company, with an indicative pledge that goes into the Contribution Ledger — cash, an asset, or a working role.
• You promise the practical follow-ups: your documents (passport, NID, nikahnama, children's birth certificates) within 30 days, your name affidavit if you have variants, and your seat at the quarterly council.

It does NOT mean

• No transfers. Nothing you own moves anywhere — the Commitment Deed says so in writing, and you may set your pledge to zero at any time before the Formation Documents.
• No loss of control. No property of yours can ever enter the structure unless you subscribe it in writing, and shares are issued only against the signed Contribution Ledger — the same rule for every branch.
• Every option stays open at Formation. The legally binding documents — Trust Deed, Shareholders' Agreement — are signed later, after counsel review; you decide again then, and even afterwards the buy-sell formula lets any branch exit at a fair price.

On the day — logistics

• Bring your NID and current passport. Everyone signs with their full name exactly as printed in their passport, in blue ink, with one adult witness per signature.
• Two originals of everything — one for the family records, one for you. Every signed page is scanned to the family Drive the same day.
• Notary run right after the council for Dada's Lineage & Heirs Declaration and Dadi's affidavit — documents C and D are sworn before a Bangladesh notary.
• Bringing land papers (dolil)? There will be a scanning table on the day — see the Asset Hub for how scans are filed into the registers.
